Through powerful partnerships with companies like Bidvest Freight, Ilembe Consortium, Airports Company South Africa, Dube Tradeport, Plascon and others - the Foundation has managed to transform charitable awards, into measurable outcomes. Drawing inspiration from dedicated supporters and the development of new relationships, the Kunene Foundation is committed to ongoing growth.

The Kunene Foundation has big dreams. Here are some of the important initiatives that we have successfully delivered and wish to expand:

• The preservation and promotion of the Mazisi Kunene intellectual legacy
• The participation of the Kunene Museum in the Ethekwini Municipality's Heritage Bus Series
• Strategic partnerships to maintain the Computer Lab & Library we've created at KwaHluzingqondo High School
• Increasing our Career Day Programs
• Expanding our Environmentally Aware Kids Project
• Extending our After School & Weekend Food Programs
• Continuing to enhance and promote scholarship in literature, linguistics and history inspired by the works of Mazisi Kunene
• Widening our Highschool Poetry Program
• Increasing our Teacher Training Workshops
